Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure - Bald Mountain, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Lake Lure, North Carolina.

Bald Mountain first opened for play in 1968. It was the Resort’s first course and was build prior to Apple Valley.

The course has well guarded greens and tight fairways. Golfers must be precise with their drives and approach shots. Bald Mountain is a true challenge in a lovely setting.

Bald Mountain has 4 sets of tees and plays at 6,283 yards from the back tees. From the back tees the course Rating is 70.9 and the Slope Rating is 128.

Course is enjoyable and provides different levels of challenge. Back nine is more narrow but still nice to play.

Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
